Jason
PERSONALITY
Jace has a little bit of an attitude on him, but most of the time he’s happy with just going with the flow. To be honest, after a while of being on the streets, he’s learned to accept and be happy with what he has without expecting to receive more. He always put his all in when it comes to things that matter – his art, finding a boyfriend, and just plain staying alive. He’s not known to give up on anything very quickly, especially whenever he’s not content with the progress he’s already made. He’s very street smart and can get out of tough situations. He knows how to handle a knife and fight, but he doesn’t like the idea of doing so, and he’d only utilize his skills if he were being attacked. His favorite thing to do in his free time is to spray paint his graffiti all over the walls of buildings. He doesn’t particularly like the idea of breaking the law, but he excuses it under the fact that it’s expressive, and he’s always meant to express himself. Expressing himself has never been something difficult for Jace. He loves to stand out and he never gives in to fads and trends. His mother, who he loved dearly, always told him to never be afraid to show his true colors. He took her literally with his art. Jace was always a momma’s boy and to this day he remains rather girlish. He doesn’t mind being referred to as feminine, because he sees where people may get that impression. His passion was for spending time with his mother before she passed away, and she lives on through his bright spirit for certain. He’s sassy and gets overly offended at times, especially when someone refers to him as “Jason” instead of “Jace.” According to him, it’s too formal and ordinary to be called Jason. Even though he has a bit of an edge to him, he has a high reverence and respect of authority and he doesn’t usually try to pull anything off. He’s much too scared of discipline and he likes to keep the streets safe. Jace can be pretty straight-forward and blunt about anything that comes to mind. He never means to offend anyone with his words, though his intentions may sometimes be mistaken. The truth is, he just says things the way that he means them. He’s open about what he’s feeling and he’s open about his view of himself, and he doesn’t like holding back at all. Jace loves symbolism, which is the reason for his bandanna tied to his arm. It’s a symbol of his strength, which he has built up after surviving on the streets and dealing with the loss of his mother. Usually Jace is very carefree, but he’s passionate about things that he considers to be important. For example, he loves to get very close and personal with others. He’s loving and caring and he lets himself get attached very easily. He loves cuddling and wants nothing more than to snuggle up beside his boyfriend and fall asleep. Sometimes he can be overbearing and a bit too much to handle because he really likes to think that he’s meant to be a leader, but usually he feels bad after conflicts and resolves them. He’s smooth and always knows how to say the right things, and without a doubt, the most important thing to him is the value in being wanted and needed by someone else.
